Save , Edit and Save the Query Design

Save the query.


We Save the query:


* By clicking on the Save button on the Quick Access Toolbar.

* Selecting the Save the Office Button. If this is the first time you save the query dialog box appears to give a name.

can put any name except for a table already created. Then click the OK button .


To close consultation click on the Close button .



Run the query


can run a query from the Query Design window or from the Navigation Pane.


* From the Navigation Pane: Double-clicking on its name.


* From the design view of the query: By clicking the Run button on the Layout tab:

When we are viewing the result of a query, we actually see is the table that meets the criteria specified, so if you modify any of the information from those contained in the consultation we will be modifying the data in the table (except some queries that do not allow such modifications).


Modify the design of a query


If we want to modify the design of a query:


* Located in the Navigation Pane and right click on the name of the query.
